When you import electronics, the first problem you see is rarely the spec sheet. It is the carton that arrives with a few dead units, a hand warmer that runs cold after an hour, or a button that stops responding after a week. Most of these show up early in a product's life, which is why we test before packing, not after a complaint.
ERADREAM is a Shenzhen brand with its own factory in Guangdong. We assemble and test our pest repellers, hand warmers and heated belts on the same floor where they are packed. Here is what each product goes through.
Rodent repellers: a 24-hour burn-in on the first batch
When a repeller model goes into production for the first time, the first batch runs a 24-hour burn-in. The units are plugged in on test racks and left running for a full day, with their lights and speakers working, before they move on to packing.
The idea is simple. Electronic parts that are going to fail early tend to fail in the first hours of use. Running them for a day at the factory catches those units here, instead of in your warehouse or your customer's kitchen.
The photo at the top of this article is a burn-in run of the SDH-041, our high-power model with dual speakers, four modes and a 9-LED night strobe.
Once a model has been through its first batch, repeat production is sample-tested from each batch. If you are placing a first order for a new model, or you want a specific check on your batch, tell us before production starts.
Hand warmers: every unit gets a capacity test
For rechargeable hand warmers, the battery decides almost everything a user feels: how long the warmth lasts and whether the power bank function is worth anything. So every hand warmer is tested for charge and discharge capacity before it is packed.
A weak cell does not look different from the outside. It shows up as shorter heating time, which is exactly the kind of problem that turns into returns and bad reviews. Testing every unit is how we keep the capacity you see on the spec sheet close to what ends up in the box.
This covers models such as the HW6 split magnetic hand warmer with its 5000 mAh battery and USB-A power bank output, and the HW7 rugby hand warmer with 2500 mAh.
Heated belts: heating, buttons and the app
Heated waist belts are checked on the line for three things:
- Heating: the pad heats up as it should.
- Buttons: every button responds and switches the levels.
- App control: for belts that pair with a phone app, the belt is connected to the app and the controls are checked from the phone.
See the OP7 heated waist belt for specs and options.
What this means for your order
- New model, first order: repellers start with a 24-hour burn-in batch.
- Repeat orders: repellers are sample-tested from each batch; hand warmers are still tested one by one.
- Certifications: our repellers carry CE and FCC reports and are made in an EPA-registered establishment (Est. No. 97987-CHN-1). Hand warmers and belts have CE, FCC and RoHS reports. We send the reports for the model you are buying.
- Special checks: if your market or your customer needs something extra, ask before production and we will confirm what we can do.
