Buyers often ask us the same question in their first email: are you a factory or a trading company? The short answer: ERADREAM is a pest repeller and hand warmer manufacturer in China, a Shenzhen brand with its own factory in Guangdong. This article is the longer answer: how our repellers and hand warmers are made, from a bare control board to a sealed carton.
The factory covers about 3,000 m² with around 60 people, and it turns out roughly 6,000 to 10,000 units a day depending on the product. Pest repellers, rechargeable hand warmers, heated eye masks and heated belts all go through the same four stages.
1. Control boards: where every product starts
Every one of our products is an electronic product first. A repeller is a board that drives ultrasonic speakers and LEDs; a hand warmer is a board that manages a battery, a heating element and a USB port; some heated belts add Bluetooth for app control.
Before assembly, the boards for each order are prepared and wired to their charging ports and connectors, then grouped by model so the line never mixes parts from two products.
2. Assembly: who actually builds your order
Assembly happens on long benches with workers seated along both sides. The work is split into steps along the line, which keeps it repeatable from the first unit of an order to the last.
For the aluminium shell of the HW6 split magnetic hand warmer, for example, the board and battery go into the shell, the end caps with the USB-A and USB-C ports are fitted, and the screws are driven with electric screwdrivers hung on spring balancers above the bench. Repellers, eye masks and belts follow the same pattern with their own fixtures.
This is also where custom details are added for OEM orders: your logo, a different housing colour, your instruction manual and your retail box.
3. Testing: what is checked before packing
Nothing is packed straight off the assembly bench. Rodent repellers run a 24-hour burn-in on the first batch of a new model and are sample-tested on repeat production. Every hand warmer is tested for charge and discharge capacity. Heated belts are checked for heating, buttons and app connection.
We wrote a separate article on this step: How we test pest repellers, hand warmers and heated belts before they ship.
4. Packing and stock: how your cartons are prepared
After testing, units go into retail boxes and then into export cartons. Each carton is marked with the quantity, gross and net weight and carton size, so your forwarder can plan the shipment before the goods leave the factory. As one example, our SDH-047 in EU plug version packs 4 units per retail box and 45 boxes per carton, 180 units in a 50 × 38.5 × 46 cm carton.
Finished cartons wait in our stock room for pickup. For rodent repellers we keep about 3,000 units of each model in stock in neutral packaging with an English manual, which is why in-stock repeller orders have no minimum quantity.
Why buy from a manufacturer in China, not a trading company
- You talk to the people who build it. Questions about a board, a housing or a carton go straight to the floor, not through a middleman.
- Custom orders start from our own line. Logo and manual customisation for repellers starts at 500 units per model; a custom housing colour and colour box start at 2,000. Production takes about 12 days after the sample and artwork are confirmed.
- Stock ships fast. In-stock repellers can be packed and handed to your forwarder without waiting for a production slot.
