Overview
A triangular plug-in unit with two speakers and three modes.
SDH-047 plugs straight into a wall outlet and starts in Mode 1, with the light flashing green. It suits homes and apartments, food service outlets, offices, warehouses, farm buildings, boats and RVs. Ultrasound does not pass through walls, doors or furniture, so we recommend one unit per room, installed 15–50 cm above the floor with nothing blocking the speakers.
Two speaker grilles sit on the front of the triangular housing, and a raised display shows mosquito, mouse and cockroach icons above a colored light strip. Switching modes from time to time helps keep pests from getting used to one sound; results usually build over 2–3 weeks of continuous use.

Cycle
Cycles 19–25 kHz, 25–65 kHz and 200 Hz, 4 seconds each. The 200 Hz segment is audible, so this mode is for unoccupied areas.

Can people or pets hear it?
Modes 1 and 2 work at 19–65 kHz. Mode 3 includes an audible 200 Hz segment and is meant for unoccupied areas; frequency changes may also produce a slight hiss, which is normal. Keep pet rodents such as hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs away from the operating area.
How many units does one room need?
One unit covers about 120 m² in an open room. Walls, doors, furniture and curtains block ultrasound, so use one unit per room and more units for large or irregular spaces.
Which plug types and voltages are supported?
Input is AC 90–250 V, 50–60 Hz, with US, EU and UK plug versions confirmed with each order. Power consumption is 5 W or less.
