Overview
One unit, quiet by day, louder when the room is empty.
SDH-053 plugs straight into a wall outlet and starts in mode 1. A short press of the mode button steps through five modes, and the indicator color shows which one is running. Modes 1–3 are ultrasonic and quiet; mode 4 adds an audible warning sound and is meant only for unoccupied areas; mode 5 runs the strobe light on its own.
In modes 1–4, hold the strobe button for 3 seconds to add the strobe light on top of the current mode. Install it 20–80 cm above the floor with the speakers unobstructed, one unit per room.

Questions buyers ask about SDH-053
Can people or pets hear it?
Modes 1–3 are ultrasonic and inaudible to most adults. Mode 4 adds an audible warning sound and is for unoccupied areas only. Mode 3 uses a gentle band for homes with cats and dogs; keep pet rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs away.
What does the strobe light do?
Mode 5 runs the strobe on its own with no sound. In modes 1–4, hold the strobe button for 3 seconds to add it on top of the current mode; hold again to turn it off.
How many units does one room need?
One unit per enclosed room. Coverage is up to 120 m² in an open space; walls and doors block ultrasound.
How long should it run?
Continuously, for at least 2–4 weeks at first. Activity can rise in the first days as pests leave their hiding places. Seal entry gaps and remove food residue for best results.
