Ultrasound + light
Variable 18–36 kHz with red and white flashes
The ultrasound keeps changing within 18–36 kHz while two red and two white LEDs flash, adding a visual warning in the dark. Sound pressure is rated at 110 dB.
Cat-face ultrasonic and LED strobe repeller for engine bays, trunks and garages, powered by 4×AA batteries, the vehicle battery or USB.
SDH-043 combines changing 18–36 kHz ultrasound with flashing red and white LEDs to make parked cars and garages unwelcoming to rats, mice and martens. A built-in vibration sensor puts it on standby when the engine starts, and the flame-retardant ABS housing is rated for −25 °C to +65 °C.

Overview
SDH-043 is built for vehicles and the spaces around them: engine compartments, car trunks and garages, as well as attics, basements, warehouses, barns and sheds. Each working cycle pairs variable 18–36 kHz ultrasound with a red and white LED strobe, so rodents do not get used to one fixed signal.
Because it is meant for parked cars, a vibration sensor switches it to standby when the engine starts and back on once the car is still. It fixes in place with the included cable ties and runs on four AA batteries (about 3 months in typical use), the vehicle battery or a 5–12 V USB adapter.
Features
Ultrasound + light
The ultrasound keeps changing within 18–36 kHz while two red and two white LEDs flash, adding a visual warning in the dark. Sound pressure is rated at 110 dB.
Smart standby
A built-in vibration sensor puts the unit on standby when the engine starts, saving battery and avoiding noise on the road.
3 power options
Use 4×AA batteries (not included), connect the included cable to a 5–12 V vehicle battery, or power it from a USB adapter with the DC-to-USB cable.
Built for cars
The ABS housing is flame-retardant and rated for cold winters and hot summers. Mount it away from hot engine surfaces and leave space below the hood.

FAQ
One unit covers a typical engine bay; for larger vehicles we recommend two, one in the engine bay and one in the trunk or cabin.
About 3 months on four AA batteries in typical use. The unit stops while the car is moving and works in cycles when parked to save power. Rechargeable AA batteries also work.
No. It goes on standby when the engine starts, and the 18–36 kHz output is above the range most adults can hear.
Fix it with the cable ties in the engine bay, trunk or garage, away from the engine surface and with some space under the hood. Have the engine bay cleaned first to remove nesting odors.
No. Mount it where it stays dry and out of direct splash.
